AccuSculpt for Hyperhidrosis
AccuSculpt lasers can selectively target and eliminate subcutaneous apocrine glands; it is a next-generation treatment for osmidrosis and hyperhidrosis. After making a small incision of about 5 mm on the underarm, a thin needle-like pipe is inserted, from which the laser is emitted to destroy the apocrine glands. The destroyed glands arethen suctioned and removed. This can treat osmidrosis (body odor) as well as hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
1444-nm Wavelength Laser
Compared to the preexisting 1064-nm and 1320-nm wavelengths, AccuSculpt’s 1444-nm wavelengths have a high absorption rate of water and fat, making it an excellent dissolver of fat cells. Because of such properties to selectivelydestroy fat tissues only, AccuSculpt procedures have minimal side effects such as burns or bleeding, while simultaneously showing improved and better effects than prior lasers.
