Symptoms
Atopic dermatitis starts with severe itchiness with papuloerythematous and scales. When it gets worse, one scratches until
it bleeds. This “itchy-scratch-itchy” cycle gets repeated and if it gets worse, leads to lichenification, or thickened skin and
distinct wrinkles.Mostly it occurs as a consequence of scratching and rubbing, and at night gets worse, moreover causing insomnia. During an acute phase, papuloerythematous and blisters appear, after which scratching can cause exudaviyum bleeding or secondary infections.
