Hair Transplant Review |
---|
At age 29, I was already looking like an old man due to hair loss. It made me really depressed to feel this way at such a young age. It got up to the point where I didn't want to even leave the house, and started to suffer from sociophobia. I decided I needed to change, and started to do some research online. I tried some suggested methods like Oriental medicine and special shampoos, but I didn't see any drastic effects.
After some consideration my final decision was a hair transplant. I discussed my options with my family and girlfriend and we all agreed this was the best choice. I was so excited it felt like I had hair again already. :D
Finding the right hospital was not easy. There were so many to choose from, all with different styles and prices. I realized a lot of the advertisements and information on most webpages were not true. I consulted a bunch of different doctors and selected Renewme because the doctor there seemed reliable and explained in detail about the procedure and how it applied to my own hair.
By this time my hairline had receded to my crown, in an M shape. I didn't necessarily need to treat the crown because that could be taken care of with medications, so I chose the 3000-hair transplant on the front.
The procedure consists of taken follicles from the back of my head to transplant to the front. It took about 4 hours total. After, when I looked at myself in the mirror I was so happy and couldn't believe this was my own hair. I felt like it was a brand new me! :)
This is me right after surgery.
This is me on the day after.
After the surgery I felt a weird sensation at the back of my head. It felt raw and a bit burning. It was uncomfortable to sleep but got better after a couple of days. And when the anesthesia wore off I could feel the pain, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. There was some swelling too, but that was gone in about 3 days and I had no trouble going back to work.
There were little scabs in my hair for a week, but they fell off naturally soon enough.
Like this!
Shampooing after 3 days. My face is still a bit swollen.
2 weeks later.
Now it's been 6 months. The best part about my hair transplant is that now I can try different styles when I go to get my hair cut. It feels like I'm back in my twenties again! Plus, I have a lot more confidence when I'm meeting people, especially since I was shy in the past due to my hair. It was amazing to see my new hair steadily growing over the days and months. Just like little sprouts :) My only regret is that I didn't choose this sooner.
I'm officially in my thirties now, which these days is considered the golden age. ;) This was a great turning point in my life; I have a brand new start and I'm excited to try new things now.
I really want to recommend hair transplant for anyone worried about hair loss. It really boosts your confidence and makes you a lot more optimistic about life in general!
